We're so excited to have cartoonist, Jamila Rowser, for our next PRO-CALL! 

"Jamila Rowser is a Queer Black, Puerto Rican, and Dominican award-winning comics writer, editor, and publisher.

She is most known for her critically acclaimed, LA Times Book Prize Winning, Eisner nominated, debut graphic novel Wash Day Diaries, co-created with artist Robyn Smith. The comic came out in July 2022 and was published by Chronicle Books.  

Wash Day Diaries continues the story from her award-winning mini-comic Wash Day (also co-created with Robyn Smith), published in 2018 by her indie publishing company Black Josei Press. Jamila has also written several comics published by Jordan Brand (Nike), Black Josei Press, Shortbox, Radiator Comics, Versal, and Power & Magic Press. "
